The Alumni Association of the college along with the Geology Department, organised a guest lecture on 13th September 2019, titled “Dhempeite to an Entrepreneur” which was delivered by Mr. Rajshekhar Kudupali, Alumnus and Gold mine Prospector based in Tanzania. It was presided over by the Principal and attended by the, Alumni, Staff and students of Dhempe College. Mr. Kudupali delivered an interesting lecture by interactively laying out his journey right from a student at Dhempe College to acquiring the CEO position at multinational companies to being an entrepreneur procuring 11 mine prospecting leases in Tanzania. The lecture concluded with several questions from the audience to which the esteemed speaker responded effectively. The lecture was held at the Seminar hall of Dhempe College at 10 am and was compered by Ms. Clarinda Dias, Secretary (Alumni Association) and Head, Department of English, Dhempe College of Arts and Science. It was attended by about 110 students.
It was an enlightening lecture, especially for the students as they got a view point of the professional world from a Global businessman and Entrepreneur.
