The Department organized screening of a series of short films and documentaries on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao” for the SYBSc students on 29th July 2015 in room 105. Through the 6 short films shown, the students were made aware of the decreasing male –female ratio in the country and understand the importance of balance in the same.
The Department organized Poster competition on the theme “Make in India” for the FYBSc students on 22nd July 2015. The students of FYBSc had to design the poster individually or in group of 3-4 students and submit to the department on 22nd July 2015. Two participants participated in the competition. The Department teachers judged the posters and Ms Deepali Nagarsekar was declared as the winner.
‘ Quiz Elimination round organised by organised by Maxcell Institute on 16th July, 2015 wherein 30 students participated in the event co-ordinated by Mrs. Anju Sakhardande.
