On 14^th July (Sunday) Uzwaad Society under the leadership of Ms. Sendra Pereira organized a No Plastic Straw Campaign. Uzwaad marked a new beginning of the Protection of Nature by creating awareness on one time use of plastic. No Plastic Straw Campaign is an initiative to reduce the use of Plastic Straws and aims to change the attitude of people with regard to the usage of plastic in one’s daily life. Uzwaad members visited around 25 restaurants, thus commencing the beginning of the weeklong activity on Sunday.
